To avoid so called skipping in the playback you should use as high
priority levels as possible. However setting the process priority
to realtime is serious risk, since if Apollo (for some reason)
falls into an infinite loop it will consume all system resources
causing the system to hang. There is usually no reason why you
should touch these settings.
You can associate Apollo with the file types supported by the installed
input plug-ins. This way you can start playing them, for example,
by double clicking them in the Windows Explorer.
The list shows all currently supported file extensions. The ones
with which Apollo is associated are highlighted. You can change the
associations by highlighting items in the list or by using the buttons
to the left of the list.
Note that if you install a new input plug-in, you will have to come here
and select the new extensions to associate Apollo with them.
